Circle-Wise Posts

For Relationship Manager-Team Lead, Investment Specialist, Investment Officer, VP Wealth and AVP Wealth, candidates are required to provide three different Circle preferences in the online application.

SBI Wealth Management Eligibility Criteria 2026

Zonal Head

Candidates require graduation from a recognized university or institution. SBI prefers candidates having an MBA in Banking, Finance or Marketing with 60% and certifications such as CFP, CFA or relevant NISM certifications.

The mandatory experience is at least 15 years in sales management in Wealth Management, Retail Banking or AMCs, including at least five years leading a large team of Relationship Managers and Team Leads.

Regional Head

Candidates require graduation and a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in relationship management or wealth management with leading public, private or foreign banks, wealth management firms or AMCs.

At least five years of experience in leading a large team of Relationship Managers or Team Leads is preferred.

Relationship Manager-Team Lead

Candidates need graduation and at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in relationship management, preferably in wealth management with banks, broking/securities firms or AMCs.

Experience as a Team Lead is preferred.

Investment Specialist

Candidates need a relevant PG degree or PG diploma in areas such as Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance or Actuarial Science, or CA/CFA.

The required experience is at least 6 years after qualification as an investment advisor, counsellor, officer or product-team professional in Wealth Management firms or AMCs.

Investment Officer

The Investment Officer position also requires a relevant professional PG qualification or CA/CFA, with the required post-qualification experience prescribed by SBI for the role.

VP Wealth

VP Wealth is a senior Wealth Management position requiring graduation and relevant experience in wealth management, banking or related financial services.

AVP Wealth

Candidates require graduation from a recognized university or institution. SBI gives preference to candidates with post-graduation in Finance, Marketing or Banking and certifications such as NISM V-A, NISM XXI-A, CFP or CFA.

The notification requires three years of experience in sales and marketing with leading public/private/foreign banks, Wealth Management firms or AMCs. SBI Wealth CREs with four years of experience are also mentioned in the eligibility criteria.

These are contractual positions with negotiated CTC. SBI has prescribed an upper annual CTC range for each position.

The actual annual CTC is negotiable and depends on the candidate’s experience, current compensation and place of posting. The CTC may include fixed pay, allowances, performance-linked pay and other benefits.

Contract Period

The initial contract period is five years. SBI may renew the contract for another four years at its discretion, subject to the applicable conditions. The contract can also be terminated by either side with two months’ notice or payment/surrender of two months’ compensation in lieu of notice.

SBI Wealth Management Selection Process 2026

There is no written examination mentioned for this recruitment. The selection process consists of:

Interview

The final merit list will be prepared in descending order based on the interview score. If candidates have the same marks at the cut-off point, the older candidate will receive the higher rank based on age in descending order.
